Leaving for the Philippines from Los Angeles airport
Journal #5: Heh-heh, Heh-heh * ‘Never Let Myself Touch A Keyboard’ * CGI Chorus Line
Devon writes in an email dated October 10, 2013:
“… the podcast is becoming like a novel, where themes and references interweave over the entirety, and there is a progression in the discourse—not only is it chronological and in-progress, but it also seeks to observe and comment on itself as it occurs, coming to pseudo-conclusions and then building/deconstructing into further pseudo-conclusions from there. So it is best to have people interested right away (putting up with the slow start) and then stay for the entire ride, instead of having people jump in halfway through and get the ‘inside joke’ feeling, like they’re entering a conversation in progress. I’m coming to consider the blog as an extension of my peace corps duty.”
